Padre Lane Villa

Private Residence

Pebble Beach, California

This Northern California residence occupies a remarkable setting between the manicured landscape of a golf course and the vastness of the Pacific Ocean.

The project embraces a contemporary vocabulary deeply influenced by Italian minimalism, where clarity of form, precise proportions, and an edited selection of furnishings establish an atmosphere of effortless sophistication. Expansive openings dissolve the boundaries between inside and out, drawing the surrounding landscape into the experience of the home.

Light becomes an essential element of the architecture and a means of transforming its identity. During the day, the residence is open, serene, and intimately connected to its coastal surroundings. As daylight fades, integrated illumination progressively sharpens its geometry and reveals another dimension of the house. By night, glowing surfaces, reflections, and dramatic perspectives give the villa an almost futuristic presence—immersive, sensual, and ultra-glamorous, with the unexpected sensation of inhabiting a spacecraft at the edge of the Pacific.
